Despite a good defensive effort by the Braves and solid goaltending by Steven Orleman, the Braves weren’t a match for the 2nd place Northmen in Game 1, losing 8-4.

Game 2 is Tuesday night, 8:00pm at Kinsmen Arena.

Trivia:  The last time these two teams met in the playoffs was 1998 when the Braves were led by Colin Doyle and the Northmen by Josh Sanderson.  Looking for a different result as the Northmen swept the Braves 4-0 in ’98.
