The Braves hosted the reigning Canadian Champion Six Nations Arrows and went down to defeat 6-4. Both teams were playing with many regulars out of their lineups. The Braves were down 3-0 and batted back to 5-4 before giving up a late goal.
The real winner in this game was the Fort McMurray Relief Fund as they will be the recipient of all proceeds from tonights game. Thank you to all those that helped with this donation.
The Braves had a special guest last evening, former Junior star and current NLL leading scorer, Dhane Smith. This past season in the NLL, Dhane surpassed the all time scoring record and set the new mark of 137 points. Dhane, you have made us proud.
The Braves return to action Sunday when they host the Brampton Excelsiors at 7:00pm at the Kinsmen Arena.
