Braves Have Big Trade Day

cloochFriday June 17th will be remembered for many things but mostly for the trade of Chris Cloutier to the Six Nations Arrows.  He will be instrumental in Six Nation’s run for their third straight Minto Cup.  In return the Braves acquired:
1: Jake Stevens – Guelph Ontario – 1st round pick of Six Nations in 2016 – currently at Culver Academy and committed to Cornell
2. Riley Matthews – Cambridge Ontario – 1st round pick of Mimico 2015 – currently at The Hill Academy and committed to Denver
3. 1st round pick 2017 (St Catharines)
4. Cash

Very shortly after the Braves made another trade with Mimico Mountaineers and acquired Jackson Reid of Guelph, a 1st round pick of Six Nations in 2015.  He is also currently at the Culver Academy in Indiana and committed to OHIO State. In return Mimico receives John Vezina from Halton Hills ( a 2016 2nd rd pick of the Braves), Hunter Lemieux from NOTL ( a 2016 2nd rd pick of the Braves) and the 2017 1st rd pick acquired in the trade for Cloutier.

The Braves organization wish Chris all the best as he completes his junior career with the Six Nations Arrows.  We would also like to give a warm welcome to Jake Stevens, Riley Matthews and Jackson Reid.  Best of luck to Hunter and John in their junior career.
