The Braves hosted the Peterborough Lakers this evening and were able to hold on for a closely fought 7-4 victory. The Braves played with a depleted lineup due to injury, other commitments and their affiliate Guelph Regals also playing this evening.
This is one night after their 10-7 victory over Brampton last evening.
Newly acquired Jordan Goddard led the way with 2 goals followed by Drake Smith with 1 goal and 3 assists. Kevin Orleman was outstanding in goal.
Braves next action is Wed June 1 when they travel to Burlington and are back home next Thursday to face the Toronto Beaches.
